Halden had three decades of climate research online and no way for a journalist on deadline to find a single figure in it.

Thirty years, one number

We reorganised the site around findings rather than publications. Each finding is a page with the number, the method, the uncertainty, and a link to the paper it came from.

Uncertainty shown, not hidden

Every figure carries its error range in the same type size as the number itself. Researchers approved the design because it refuses to make the science look more certain than it is.
