A design-systems tool where the documentation is the component library.
Tessellate’s users maintained a component library and a separate documentation site, and the two were never in agreement.
Documentation as the library
We merged them. The documentation page is the component’s source of truth: edit the example and you edit the component, so drift becomes structurally impossible.
Designed for the person who inherits it
The primary user is not the author of a system but whoever picks it up two years later. Every screen is built to answer why a decision was made, not just what it was.
